Choosing a lorry for a Singapore site
SRTEC rents and sells lorries from 51 Changi Business Park Central 2, #04-05. The office is open weekdays, 8am to 5pm, on +65 6273 0116. There is no published day rate. A quote is requested against the machine and the job.
Two published lorries, two different jobs
The Hino XZU71-R 14ft is the smaller truck on the fleet page. Published figures: 4.0 L turbocharged diesel, 150 HP, 7,000 kg gross vehicle weight, a 3,430 mm wheelbase, and overall dimensions of 6,120 × 1,995 × 2,210 mm. The cab seats three.
The Hino 500 Series 4×2 cab-chassis is the heavier rigid. Published figures: 7.7 L diesel, 210 kW, and a 19,000 kg gross vehicle mass, with full-air ABS brakes. Gross vehicle mass is not a payload you can assume. Ask SRTEC what the body and the job allow before you treat 19,000 kg as cargo.
What to send with the enquiry
- The site access: gate width, ramp, and whether the truck must stay under a low ceiling.
- Whether you need a 14 ft box or a cab-chassis that will carry a body you already have.
- Rental or purchase, and the dates.
Excavators, the Isuzu crane truck, and the Mitsubishi 5-ton forklift are separate fleet pages. If the job is digging or lifting rather than haulage, say so. The lorry page will not be the right machine.
